Chapter 1 of 6 · A borrowed room
It starts with a few.
Folding chairs in a school cafeteria. A handful of families, a borrowed podium, and a vision far bigger than the room it was born in.
Your part in the story
God has placed a vision in you.
He is in control of what that vision becomes. What He asks of us is the day-to-day part — the planning, the stewardship, the hard conversations and the decisions that come before growth does. Financing is one of those practical parts, and it is the part we know best.
Let us help you play your part — turning humble, obedient steps into something meaningful.
Three short steps. No credit pull, no documents yet.

Purchases · Refinances · Improvements
Two paths we look at
The right answer depends on your scenario — not on a rate sheet.
Church financing is evaluated case by case. Whether a loan fits a bank or needs a bridge depends on the property, the organization's financial picture, occupancy, equity and timing.
Bank or credit union
Usually the lower-cost path, and typically available when the church has solid financials, a stable giving history, and time to work through a full underwriting process.
Bridge financing
Considered when the timeline, the property condition, or the financials aren't a fit for a bank yet — for example a purchase that has to close quickly before a longer-term loan is in place.
Terms, rates and availability are set by the lender after review and are specific to each property and borrower. Nothing on this page is a rate quote, an offer to lend, or an approval.
Step 1 of 3
Your church and the property
Where it is and what it will be used for.
No documents and no credit pull at this stage. Not an application, not an approval.
Ready Rate is a mortgage brokerage, not a lender, and does not make credit decisions. Financing for churches and faith-based property is subject to lender review, underwriting, property eligibility, documentation, credit, equity and applicable law, and not every scenario will qualify. Business-purpose treatment is not assumed simply because the borrower is a church — purpose, collateral, occupancy and borrower structure all matter.
